The Jewellery App helps to KickStart emerging UK jewellery designers at IJL

The Jewellery App has joined forces with International Jewellery London (IJL) and the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) to provide support to the winners of the 2018 KickStart initiative, IJL’s annual programme for pioneering new designers.

Each year, 6 up-and-coming UK designers are selected by the NAJ and IJL to have the unique opportunity to showcase their jewellery at IJL on a group stand in the prestigious Design Gallery.

With exposure to a 9,000+ trade audience and leading industry experts at the show, the winners are offered the opportunity to attend a special training day before the event in June, covering all aspects of brand promotion, to help ensure that they maximise their experience at IJL, the premier industry jewellery show.

The Jewellery App will join IJL and the NAJ in providing designers a prime spot on the Jewellery App marketplace, an exclusive B2B ecommerce market for the trade.

The Jewellery App will provide this year’s KickStart winners with an additional 450+ member audience of retailers, suppliers and service providers – seeking new products and designers, including a free Gold Membership to the platform.

As part of their subscription, winners will be able to upload up to 2,500 products to the platform, have access to a seller API, be able to become a trade supplier and sell their products for a special reduced fee.

“One of our company aims is to continue to connect the jewellery trade, this means bringing together suppliers, retailers and designers into one space so they can trade products and services” says The Jewellery App partner Daren Daniels. “We’re really excited to be working with IJL and KickStart to bring some budding new designers onto the platform and help establish an ecommerce store for designers seeking to sell to the trade.”
