Bransom sees mobile PoS terminals growth as retailers seek to engage with customers

5 January 2018

Bransom’s mPoS system has caught the imagination of a large number of Jewellery retailers over the last year, and the company is seeing increased adoption by its bsmart2 client base.

The mobile terminals have been especially useful over the Christmas period, being used to both reduce waiting time in regular stores and make sales at pop-up shops in large retail centres. One of the benefits is that new mpos terminals can be deployed and configured in just a few hours. Should any device fail, trading can continue quickly by deploying a new device instantly, eliminating days of downtime associated with fixed hardware systems.

Bransom remains tightly focussed exclusively on the Retail Jewellery trade, and continues to expand the cloud- based system which seamlessly integrates with the bsmart2 stock management system.

Several new add-on modules for mPoS make their debut at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham, and more are in development. The latest developments include enhanced Sales reporting, allowing retailers to log in to their dashboard on any device, anywhere, at any time and get a comprehensive report of sales for any period they wish to define and export the data to a spreadsheet.

Bransom will also feature its range of Zetags jewellery tickets, the printing of which is fully integrated with bsmart and tickets can be produced quickly and easily. The tags are among the highest quality tickets on the market, highly durable and include Bransom’s unique ‘999’ design which maximises the number of tags and print area, leaving little material wastage and so providing top value.
