Fiorelli targets the Christmas gift market

7 August 2017

The new Fiorelli Silver Collection from Gecko, which will be available from the second week of August, looks set to take the Christmas gift market by storm says the company’s Creative Director Desiree Pringle.

“We have created this range to include designs which, whilst hitting key trends such as asymmetry and fluid lines, are also versatile enough to appeal to a wide variety of customers. These pieces can easily be worn with day or evening wear and, thanks to their competitive price points and attractive packaging, are simply perfect gifts for Christmas or indeed for any other occasion. There truly is something here for everyone,” Pringle commented.

The new Fiorelli Silver Collection offers 150 styles including 65 brand new lines across necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings many of which mix and match for add on sales.  It is made in sterling silver highlighted with yellow and rose gold rhodium plating. This Collection sees the introduction of some exciting new materials such as Peacock coloured freshwater pearls and black mother-of-pearl slices with an iridescent palette of greys, pinks and greens. Look out too for crystals in morganite and pink as well as lapis and malachite.

One of the key trends this season is ‘Soft Geometry’.  This offers minimalistic, sleek neckwear profiles and bangles in plain metal, which imitate the movement of the ribbons and textiles recently seen on global catwalks.  Some designs mix highly polished with rougher brushed surfaces for a stunning, textural contrast while others take traditional motifs, such as the heart, and transform them into fluid modern jewellery.

Another key design theme is ‘Sky Lines’.  Here Gecko’s team took their inspiration from minimalist architecture and modern high-rise buildings to create jewellery which juxtaposes symmetrical lines with the asymmetrical use of cubic zirconia to create interesting patterns as well as contrast and interest.

A consumer-facing catalogue has been produced to support the Fiorelli Silver collection featuring multiple model images which can be used by stockists in their on-store displays or other marketing. Co-ordinating point- of -sale imagery will also be supplied to retailers for use on their Fiorelli displays.  Each piece of jewellery comes with its own high-quality, branded, pale -grey gift box and bag.
