The National Association of Jewellers is run by a Chief Executive and a permanent secretariat, responsible to the National Committee. There are 10 elected members of the committee who serve for a two year period. Under normal circumstances five members retire each year but can offer themselves for re-election by Members at the Annual General Meeting. In addition there are three Officers, The Chairman, Vice Chairman and Deputy (Immediate Past) Chairman who normally serve for a two year period. The Chairman of any trade section or sub-committee is an ex-officio member of the National Committee.
Any member interested in serving on the National Committee is invited to speak with the Chief Executive, as vacancies do occur from time to time in between annual elections.
