At the NAJ, we passionately believe that the key to success in any industry sector is the sharing of knowledge, expertise and experience with other like minded industry professionals.
The fact is, no successful business or business owner can afford to be an island because the more we all share and learn the more our business will grow and most importantly grow profitably.
Since 2005, the Executive Development Forum has been helping retail businesses to do just that. Today, as the NAJ servicing the whole supply chain, our sharing of ideas and knowledge will now extends beyond the world of retail to cover every sector of the industry with two new groups to run alongside the existing Retail group: A JET Business Network group for Designer Makers and a JET Business Network group for Manufacturers.
The new groups will be tailored to the very specific needs of the respective designer maker and manufacturing channels within our industry; as well as incorporating relevant components of the successful retail networking groups, such as:
Plus the opportunity to influence and shape the content of the Annual Oxford Congress, where all the regional networking groups meet together to hear external speakers share their knowledge, expertise and experience.
Networking in today’s fast moving world may now be virtual as well as physical but is still based on the values of Trust, Respect and Confidentiality – values that have established and sustained Jet Business Network relationships formed through the common purpose of sharing knowledge, expertise and experience with other like minds looking to looking to improve their businesses.
“If I hadn’t seen the range of credit card transaction costs poll we did, I wouldn’t have realised I was paying top end of the spectrum. By pushing back on my supplier, the savings made paid for EDF membership last year” Adam J.
“We have a manufacturing workshop and have been using it just for our own customers and a small amount of trade work. After joining the EDF we have taken on extra manufacturing for two EDF members, which has increased our overall turnover, without it our turnover would have shown a slight decrease” Timothy R.
