The NAJ offers a mentoring service as a member value added benefit drawing on both business experience and knowledge of the jewellery trade.
Mentoring, by helping others learn from your experience, helping them develop their own skills and encouraging them to continue their professional development would be giving something very valuable back to our industry.
Any existing member of the NAJ will be able to put him/herself forward to become a mentor at any time. We would be looking for members with trade experience that they would like to share with others. Initially the NAJ Education Steering Committee will be responsible for looking at applicants based on their knowledge and experience of the industry to find suitable mentees from a geographical and needs point of view.
Likewise, any existing member of the Association can apply for mentoring. To apply you need to outline your request, specifying the area of mentoring assistance required and your geographic location. Please give a brief explanation of your company's activities
Applications for both mentor and mentee can be made to the Education Department through email@example.com
