Akansha Sethi, the London based jewellery designer has been continuing to design her new collection and bespoke commissions which has really helped her stay motivated during the current circumstances.

In light of the growing public health concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic leading to people working from home, Akansha has decided to start a new design campaign inspired by her joy of painting. For the competition, entrants must paint their own scarf ring or lapel pin. The designs will be sent via email from 6th April 2020, and the design will need to be printed out, coloured in and sent back within two weeks.

The design has been inspired by the delicate tile work at her ancestral home in India. Once all the designs have been received, the winning design will be hand crafted into a beautiful tangible object with hand painted enamel work in a variety of finishes, ready for delivery/collection during London Fashion Week in September 2020.

Akansha commented:

‘I am very excited to launch this new design campaign and hopefully make everyone smile during this difficult time. The design itself is very special for me as it represents a pattern, which I have been drawing from a very early age whenever I have visited my grandparents in India. I look forward to see everyone’s creations and hope they enjoy wearing their own creation this fall.’
