CAT Students to benefit from access to Valuation Software as part of course programme

The Guild of Valuers & Jewellers has this week announced it will open up its popular GuildPro valuation software for NAJ students as they work towards attaining in the Certificate of Appraisal Theory (CAT) qualification.

GuildPro, the online valuation tool is said to ‘deliver a fresh innovative approach to valuing’ and is developed using the latest web technology to offer a clean up-to-date user interface, making it simple to complete worksheets and other functions, enabling consistent and professional valuations every time.

Marie Garnett, NAJ Head of Education said,

“We’re extremely thankful to the Guild of Valuers & Jewellers for supporting CAT students with this benefit. The programme of learning is rigorous albeit interesting and exposing students to practical applications such as GuildPro build professional and practical knowledge and experience.”

The collaboration which representatives at the Guild of Valuers & Jewellers point out, allows ‘CAT students to put their theory into practice’ with access to ‘the most advanced valuation software in the market’ free of charge. Also included are 10 credits allowing students to produce up to 10 valuations using the software.

GuildPro worksheets walk users through building a valuation from start to finish and include all the vital information that must be captured for each item type they are valuing. Gemstones weights are automatically calculated, gold and dollar rates are automatically populated and working notes are stored digitally.
