Spearheaded by Guardian Brands founder, Stewart Arvan and his team, Angel Whisperer from Englesrufer is the company’s sole focus as it looks to establish new independent retail partnerships in 2020.

Previously known as Englesrufer, the refreshed Angel Whisperer brand has a new, contemporary look-and-feel, refreshed point of sale materials and a renewed focus on the sentimental meanings behind each range, such as Tear of Heaven, Guardian Angel and Dreamcatcher. Its recognisable and sentimental sound ball pedants can be personalised to suit each customer, with angel wing charms adding extra layers of customisation.

Renaming the brand has secured positive feedback from existing retail partners to date and is expected to secure new accounts at Jewellery & Watch 2020.

Maria French, formerly of Links of London and now UK and Ireland Wholesale Manager for Angel Whisperer, says: “Jewellery & Watch is a perfect medium to re-introduce the Angel Whisperer brand to the UK Market. Our new approach to the brand is about commitment, focus and energy, with the goal of finding the right retail partners and offering something different to independent jewellers.

“With my 10 years’ experience working within wholesale environments, I know this market well and I look forward to demonstrating our revitalised 360-degree approach, from service to stockist. Angel Whisperer is a beautiful, high-quality product for buyers, and Guardian Brands are committed to making the brand a success in the UK.”

Angel Whisperer from Engelsrufer was established in 2010 and has since grown to become one of the most recognised and collected brands in the European market. The brand is sold in more than 40 countries, including the United States, South Africa, Switzerland, and Italy. In the United Kingdom, the brand is focused on high-quality and accessibly priced collections for independent fashion, jewellery and giftware boutiques.

Jewellery & Watch Event Director, Kirsty Broere, adds: “I look forward to welcoming the Guardian Brands team to Jewellery & Watch 2020. The timing and location of Jewellery & Watch is ideal for a brand like Angel Whisperer, which has big, bold plans for the UK market and a strategy to support independent jewellery retailers. Plus, thanks to the move to Hall 1, there are lots more opportunities for Jewellery & Watch exhibitors to attract fashion and giftware buyers looking to diversify.”

Guardian Brands is a business partnership between Stewart Arvan, Greg Blanchfield and Goodman Bros (Connoisseurs UK), who will also exhibit at Jewellery & Watch 2020.

Spring Fair and Jewellery & Watch welcomed more than 50,000 combined visitors in 2019, with buyers from more than 75 countries visiting Jewellery & Watch specifically. Of the visitors to Jewellery & Watch in 2019, 60% were representatives of multiple and independent retail businesses.

Jewellery & Watch, part of Spring Fair, will take place from February 2-6, 2020, while the new Jewellery & Watch Salon will take place at Autumn Fair from September 6-9, 2020, both at the NEC, Birmingham.
