The second digital NAJ live takes place next week (Thursday 27th) with guest speakers providing insight on the importance of recognising trends, shining a light on some of the most famous in recent times, and also looking ahead with a particular focus on diamond jewellery.

Hosted by Helen Dimmick the digital event will start at 10am with the ‘word on the street’ wrapping up the last month in the trade featuring the NAJ Live poll. Helen will also host the retailer ‘bubble’ later on in the morning for NAJ retail members to connect with each other, and share their experiences over video conference.

Patricia Law, a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers is the morning’s keynote session and will reflect upon some of the more memorable and successful trends in the open and auction market across the last 20 or 30 years. Patricia will illustrate the ever-changing popularity of jewellery styles, use of metals and gemstones, opening the morning's 'trend theme'.

Lucy Cripps, a jewellery copyeditor and writer will then look at tricks to power up your search, social media and sales, touching on some basic language tips to create a clear message, especially where sharing trend tips and insights to your customers are concerned.

Jill Newman, Editor at Large for the Natural Diamond Council and its Style Collective Trend Report will then take the stage, revealing the latest diamond jewellery trends for Autumn. Jill will discuss what consumers are seeking in diamond jewellery, and why these trends and styles work for today’s lifestyle and various age groups. She will also reveal why diamond jewellery remains meaningful to consumers during these uncertain times and how retailers can engage their clients with the right diamond jewellery designs now. The Natural Diamond Council Style Collective is made up of leading international jewellery editors, retailers and stylists who look at the essential trends in natural diamond jewellery.

Members and guests can join the NAJ Live for just the presentations, or just the networking bubbles that follow (lasting for 30 minutes), or both.
