NAJ Awards 2019

The NAJ Awards 2019 will recognise companies, teams and individuals that have gone above and beyond to deliver great results, an unforgettable experience and in some circumstances, a legacy for others to follow.

The winners will be announced at our awards presentation on Thursday 5th December at The Benevolent Society Christmas Ball, which will be taking place at St. John’s Hotel, Solihull and will be attended by almost 400 allied trade professionals.

The Benevolent Society Committee will again make this year’s Ball a very special and truly festive Christmas party and rumours abound in the Trade that a large gentleman with a white beard and a red suit may appear once again!

A charity auction will be conducted by David Doyle, Vice Chairman of The Benevolent Society and President of the National Association of Jewellers. Lots donated for the auction include: a fine dining lunch with wine for 10 people at The Birmingham Assay Office, a fantastic full day's Clay Pigeon Shooting for 10 people followed by dinner, sponsored by TH March & Co, and a unique piece of silverware kindly manufactured and donated by Andrew Macgowan, one of the UK’s leading Silversmiths.

Watch last year's highlights and hear from our winners!

The Benevolent Society

The Benevolent Society, charitable society of the British Allied Trades Federation (BATF), financially assists individuals that have worked within the giftware, jewellery, surface engineering, travel goods and fashion accessories industries. The society also helps individuals starting or progressing their career journeys in these industries through bursaries to help with their studies.
