Retail Jewellers' Congress

Theme: Grow your presence, grow your people, grow your profit

Date and location: Monday 13th September, De Vere Staverton Park Estate, as part of the NAJ Summit

This year’s theme “Grow your presence, grow your people, grow your profit", came from a members' poll of the NAJ's independent jewellery retailer network, the JET Business Network.

Michael Donaldson, the network's facilitator said,

“This year’s members' poll on their 2021 challenges reversed last year's top two places, as digital replaced staff as their number one challenge.

“Digital represented 40% of the vote, jumping significantly from 31% in 2020, whereas staff received 38% of the vote, maintaining it is a priority since the 2020 poll (37%).”

What do jewellery retailers say about 'congress?

“Great Day & lots of things to take back to our business & hopefully implement. The Social media speaker was awesome!”

For retailers 'Congress' is a unique opportunity to sample the network to experience some of the retailer community which makes the JBN one of the Association's most valuable member benefits.

"When I first joined the JBN I thought that to commit to almost £1000 for the joining fee is a large amount. What is the return on that going to be? I recouped that soon after my first meeting from the tips that I received by discussing with other members what had worked for them to increase their sales. Joining the JBN has been worth every penny and I would recommend that to anyone who is unsure of joining."
