Barry Sullivan, Chair of the Institute of Registered Valuers said,

“We’re delighted to be featuring these names in the conference programme, it’s really exciting and we look forward to welcoming established and future valuers to the event later this year.

“Although it’s great to make this announcement now, we will be making further announcements in the coming weeks as the programme develops.”

Craig O’Donnell and David Callaghan will be well known to many in the NAJ’s valuing community and represent continuity from the event’s previous home of Loughborough. Jack Ogden and Nicholas Wainwright also forge a strong connection with the jewellery retailer sector, as do Sandra Cronan and Richard Winterton with antique and pre-loved jewellery respectively.

The Announcement was made at the Virtual Valuer’s Conference, an online event hosted by the Institute of Registered Valuers which itself featured Julia Giffith, Steven Jordan, Patricia Law and Jackie Sanders as speakers.

Chris Sellors, Chair of the NAJ Events and Networking steering group said,

“Since announcing the inclusion of the Supplier Showcase at the Summit, interest has continued to grow and swell in recent weeks.

“The Summit is inclusive and enables the entire sector to get together, from valuers to retailers, suppliers to designers and all in between.”

The Summit encapsulates five events across one weekend, aimed to bring the NAJ membership together to network and learn, in relaxed and comfortable surroundings.

In addition to the Valuers’ conference, the Retail Jewellers’ Congress hosted by the JET Business Network and SecurityWise, a reshaped format of the former Security and Technology Showcase are also part of the Summit.

New events include Created in the UK; a forum series aimed at exploring creativity in the UK as well as celebrating British jewellery manufacturing, and a series of Better Business seminars addressing legal, commercial and responsible actions jewellers can take to do better business.

Also included in the Summit is the Supplier Showcase, where manufacturers and suppliers can present their collections, products and services on site. The primary networking opportunity of the whole event may prove to be the Sunday evening Members’ Gala dinner where all attendees can come together before the final day of activities.

Booking is now open and interest in the Supplier Showcase (and multiple attendee bookings) should be directed to Garry Lane, Commercial Manager via or 07741554011.
